Today, something really strange happened in my life. Till today I never knew that I have Xenophobia. I was on my way to visit my dad. It was a fine evening. And I was only a short distance away from my dad. I had to take a bus for quite a short distance. The bus was neatly packed when I got into it. I found a seat to occupy. But very soon, the bus was more than full. And then, it was as tightly packed as I started feeling so uncomfortable. There were different kinds of odours and somehow tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I was trying to maintain my consistency but I started sweating. The bus drew very near to my father’s place but then I didn’t know what exactly happened. I started suffering from short breath and I couldn’t breathe. I was shouting for help and no one could see, perhaps I was just thinking that I was shouting out loud.

And I could remember in a blurred vision that I was being taken to the gate of the bus and then out of the bus for fresh air. A group of people used various means like water to get me back to my conscious. I gave a call to my dad. My dad immediately came rushing and took me home. He made me lie down and rest. After 4 hours I just woke. And I’m feeling much better now. It was quite an experience.

Answer:

Diary entry on my experience in a crowded bus.

Explanation:

24 June 2019.

I had a completely new experience today. This may not be unfamiliar to a person who lives in India but not for me. I am an Indian born American citizen roaming in India because of vacation. I am here in India in my grand father's house and its day 22.

Today I have been to my cousins house. He was a familiar one for me but not the transport system I chose to reach him today. I have traveled in an Indian public bus. I have never witnessed this much crowd travelling in a single bus in America.

They made me foot-boarding the bus. Even though it was a new experience and quite adventurous it was completely dangerous and Indian must have to avoid such crowded travelling.
