Thursday, 8 P.M
Last night my father nearly surprised us. I cannot say it was happiness or surprised when he said that we would be going to Shimla for holidays, this year.
I have always beyond of hill stations and Shimla is a paradise on earth.
I have already started to pack my bag and have started to prepare myself for the trip.
I am really very anxious to visit the snow capped mountains and enjoy them. I want to go for trekking, enjoy delicious foods there and see new tourist attractions.

Dear Diary,
I am so excited. Grandpa just announced at the dinner table that we are going to spend a part of our winter vacation in Shimla. He said that each one of us has to go. You should have seen father’s face, he was so annoyed. You know father, how busy he is always. Now he has to take some time off.
The rest of us are very happy. Grandmother and I have already started planning what to take. I will take my indoor games set. Since it snows in Shimla I’ll have to take a good stock of warm clothes. This is the first time I am going to experience a snow fall. Grandfather has promised to teach me how to make a snow man.
I can’t wait for the winter vacations. I hope it comes fast. Will write again.
