Sunday, January 8th, 2020, It was a beautiful day in Gujarat. Our family had given us the permission to visit the International Kite festival. We five of us reached Sabarmati waterfront, Ahmedabad at 8 a.m. This is where the IKF is happening.
We saw people from all over the world have come to participate. We saw Japanese flying “Rokkaku” fighting kites, Malaysia’s “Wau-balang kites” etc. We also saw our people flying kites of various characters; they had film personalities, cartoon characters etc. We also saw Rasulbhai Rahimbhai’s kite. He had 500 kites in a single string and was awarded for it.
We were betting amongst our friends as to which kite will get cut and which team is the strongest. It looked as if the sky was decorated with distorted rainbows. Some kites were massive and some were colourful. There was no caste, sect or creed. Everyone had crowded there to showcase their talent and enjoy the festival.

Dear diary :-
Finally i got the time to talk to you and share my all experiences and feelings of the day. Hope you are also good as me. Today, a kite flying competition was held in our school in which i also participate with full enthusiasm as you also know that very well that how much crazy i am about flying the kite.
The competition was organized among different houses of our school. All the students in each house participated very enthusiastically and they need to be appreceiated for that. Also, i won the competition which was the best part.
