Dear Diary,

Every year we celebrate Teacher's Day in our school by lending out some flowers or cards to our Teachers as they help us within our teachers and with their teaching, we go to school. So every Year we first give Cards in the morning along with some gifts. Then, the go for their Teacher's day celebration in the auditorium like a party or functions for the teachers. So instead of them we have students of Higher classes like Grade twelve or Grade tenth students who come instead of the Teachers to teach or have some fun. So the first thing as one of them comes is introduce ourselves .So we introduce ourselves and that takes half of the time. Then we do some small Math problems then we play some games and put songs later on.Then comes our lunch break and we eat up our food and then we again and we continue our Fun with songs and Dance. Then the time fly's very soon that our teachers come back once the function is done and we wave those higher grades goodbye as we had such a memorable day and we welcome our class teacher and other teachers back and It will be almost five minutes away from the home time. Then we go home and that's it! One celebration day got over and we have to wait for one whole year for it to come back. Bye Dear Diary and I will be back tomorrow again to tell you another great day!

Dear Diary,

This year Teacher’s Day was celebrated in a very different way in our school. The students of classes XI and XII had planned the day in such a manner that there was never a dull moment.

The day started with the Morning Assembly which was conducted by the teachers. Our Maths teacher Ms Geeta read out the news in English. Ms Roma came on the stage and read the “Thought of the Day.” After that, the Head Boy and the Head Girl felicitated the teachers by presenting them with small bouquets and cards.

Later on at about 9:30 a.m. some sports activities like a volleyball match and a badminton match were conducted between senior students and the senior teachers. A game of musical chairs was also played which resulted in a lot of fun and laughter.

Towards the afternoon teachers were served light snacks and tea. The programme came to an end with a musical competition between two groups of teachers. It was an hour-long competition and we were all surprised to see the talent of our teachers. The best team was given prizes by our Principal. All in all, "it was an eventful day which was enjoyed equally by teachers and students."
