Dear Diary:
I am sharing.
with you my elation over winning the best
singer award in the inter-school
singing competition. I had cleared the
preliminary song. I got the second
maximum votes from the viewers and the
judges gave me 10 0ut of 10. In the final
round I sang songs from different genres. In
the preliminary round I sang my
favourite song that I had sung on many
occasions previously. However, in the
final round I had to sing songs given to me
by the judges. Though I am quite
versatile, yet I felt quite nervous on the
stage. But I had practiced all the
genres previously. My singing teacher had
made me practice classic, Sufi, Pop,
Qawali, Devotional, and Bollywood genres.
I thank God, my teacher, my
parents,and everyone who helped me win
this award.
