In case of dictatorship the people of the country are forced to follow certain rules and if not followed by them then they are given harsh punishments like life imprisonment or even death penalty so due to fear of such punishment they work for long hours or are even bound for slavery, and they cant even complain about the same to anyone. But in case of a democratic country they are given basic fundamental rights due to which they have the right to do the job they desire and are given certain work hours. Hence economic growth rate of dictatorship is higher.
