The statement can be justified as follows-
- In a dictatorship, there are certain rules and regulations that are to be followed strictly by the citizens.
- This results in a high-quality performance of the individuals in different sectors which further increases the efficiency with reduced wastage.
- However, in a democracy, the citizens have their own rights and conduct and the government cannot force a specific outcome or behaviour.
- This results in slower growth, comparatively.

Answer:
Yes economic growth rate of dictatorship is higher.
Explanation:
In case of dictatorship the people of the country are forced to follow certain rules and if not followed by them then they are given harsh punishments like life imprisonment or even death penalty so due to fear of such punishment they work for long hours or are even bound for slavery, and they cant even complain about the same to anyone. But in case of a democratic country they are given basic fundamental rights due to which they have the right to do the job they desire and are given certain work hours. Hence economic growth rate of dictatorship is higher.
