sum of angles in triangle = 180

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180

x + 3x + y = 180

4x + y = 180 ------ ( 1 )

also given ,

3y - 5x = 30 ------- ( 2 )

multiplying eq 1 by 3 we get

12x + 3y = 540 ------ ( 3 )

subtracting eq 2 from 3 we get

17 x = 510

x = 30

so one angle is 30°

another angle is 4x = 3 × 30 = 90°

remaining must be 60 °


so triangle is right angeled
