Bewoulf is fated to be a Hero in the story. He just wishes to make his name in the society and further himself as a Hero.
In the story Bewoulf hears about the evils acts of Grendel and by fate he fights with Grendel and Kill him. This way he makes name for himself and do some good for the society.
