Answer: They initially came to trade with India for its well known spices and silk etc but after they looked political disturbances and lack of unity among the Indians they had some conspiracy which was executed when sirajudaulah sent an attack on them.
They used all the navy army etc to defeat him because caputure of Bengal would be capturing one of the greatest kingdom in India and like this They captured the entire nation
