no it didt land but I think so it lost in 2.7km .

Answer: yes the vikram lander Chandrayan 2 landed on the moon

but its still not sure that was it a crash or a soft landing. when it was about to land the connection was only lost due to which we are not sure that actually what happened to it but isro is still trying to make connection.

the connection may have lost due to battery failure or high velocity as said by isro but a photo of isro in one piece have been captured by the orbiter of chandrayan 2 which seprated from the vikram lander successfuly .
