Yes, Dobereiner's triads also exist in the columns of Newlands Octaves. For example, the second column of Newlands classification has the elements lithium (Li), sodium (Na) and Potassium (K), which constitute aDobereiner's triad.

Answer:

Yes,  Dobereiner's traids also exist in column of Newland's octaves. e.g. lithium , sodium and potassium constitute a Dobereiner's triads. Now, if we consider Li as the first element then the eighth element from it , is Na and if we consider Na as the first element then the eight element from it is K.

Similarly, Dobereiner's triad constitute of the elements beryllium , magnesium and calcium is also included in the column of Newland's octaves .

Thus, Dobereiner's triad are included in the columns of Newland's octaves.
