Well, this is quite a hypothetical question.
Science has already proved in many aspects that humans have evolved from apes. For instance, early humans(stone age individuals) and apes look much alike.
But, as far as the religious beliefs are considered, it is the God who created man.
If I have to give my own opinion, I would say that God instructs from above and the world goes on changing into a better one.
So, my answer: Created by God. Evolved from apes.
