yes it's true that mahabharata really happened

Some reasons are :

  • Archaeologist have found many pieces of Chariots , metal , bones and even jewellery (gold and silver) at Kurukshetra
  • Pandavas capital Indraprastha which is now called as delhi (not officially but sometimes when related to history) is really a place
  • Krishna kingdom capital Dwarka is said to be in real as it is said it was submerged inside water and it's true
