Hello friend!
Here's ur answer!
Jesse Owens didn't tell Luz Long what was troubling him but Luz Long understood the reason and said that he was a good player and could easily win and told him to draw the line some inches before the jumping line so that he would not be fouled even though he would go behind the line. This advice helped Jesse Owens to win in the Olympics and pass the trails.
He didn't tell Luz Long because he was a stranger and was from Germany. At that time Hitler thought that Germans were a superior race and had the right to rule the world so he harassed the black people. Jesse Owens didn't believe this and he was all the more angry when he knew that Luz Long was a German and he could pass at the first chance in the trials.
Hope it helps!!☺
Thanks!!☺
