The operations Barga naturally helped to improve and cause the Pareto improvement in allocations between the farmers and landowners and prevented the tenants from kinds of exploitation that they had to earlier face from the hands of the tenants at land.

So this was a great improvement and an agrarian reform.

So this mainly concentrated on participation of common people, in land related reform movements by the rural workers as well as by the people who formed a part of several self controlled institutions.

This was mainly because of the legal changes that were introduced in these lands.

Answer:

The operation helped the local farmers a lot, this is explained below,

Explanation:

The operation was a great relief for the farmers of West-Bengal. This operation was started in the year 1978 and ended around the year 1984.

This ensured the farmers their wages which the landlords have been stealing. The farmers now had to enrol themselves with the local Tehsils instead of going with the time-consuming process of settlements by the officials.
