2)The lion was disturbed and arose from his sleep. ... Then the mouse prayed the lion to leave him off and assured that it would help him when it needed. The lion laughed at it and let him off. One day the lion was caught in a net spread by a hunter.

3)The mouse remembered the lion's voice and ran quickly to the net. The mouse saw the lion struggling in the net and had an idea. She gnawed on the net until it broke and the lion was able to escape.

4)The Lion was much amused to think that a Mouse could ever help him. But he was generous and finally let the Mouse go. Some days later, while stalking his prey in the forest, the Lion was caught in the toils of a hunter's net.
