In my opinion, Isabelle fought for what she believed in, and she did what her values and sense of morality told her to do. Her sacrifice was responsible for saving the lives of many other, she became an example of heroism and courage, and her actions inspired others. How sad that her life ended as a result of an illness suffered in the concentration camps. Her life, however, was not sacrificed in vain..... she lives on through those who remember her and remains a symbol of hope and sacrifice...
