An action or information can be expressed in a sentence.

In English the sentence may be active or passive.

Rules for changing active voice into passive voice :-

  • The object in the passive voice becomes subject in the active voice.

  • The subject in the passive voice becomes object in the active voice.

  • The main verb of the sentence is changed into past participle form and it is preeced by correct form of Be form.

  • The passive voice of the verb with two objects is formed by changing either of two objects into the subject and retaining the other as the retained object.
