water, stone, leaves and smokes have measurable mass but heat and light don't have mass.

Explanation:

Matter is anything else that occupies space and it has mass. Matter is the substance of which all things are made.

So, water, stone, leaves and smokes have measurable mass because they occupy the space (or volume) but heat and light don't occupy the space.

Hence, heat and light don't have mass.
