Hi,

Here is your answer

Ranga's marriage is a story written in first person narrative by Masti Venkatesha Iyengar who was a famous kannada writer during the late 19's.

Even though the story was interesting and had humor in all the right places, I actually did not like it. The main character of this story Ranga is a hypocrite.

Ranga having studied abroad for his studies had a different view about marriage which was very different from the common villagers. When Ranga returned from the city, he said he would marry only when he found the right girl. The girl should be mature and should understand him. But Ranga did not stick to his views and fell in love with an eleven year old girl Ratna and ended up marrying her.

The story lacks a moral and it is just a work of fiction that can be read when one is in the mood for amusement.

Hope this helps you.
