diferenc between calcium nitrate and potassium nitrate using a flame test??

When flame test is carried, what is observed is that;

Calcium nitrate produces orange red flame while potassium nitrate produces pink flame also referred to as lilac flame.

The flame colors are different for different metals as different metals produces different colors.
