arteries have thick walls so that they can cope up with high blood pressure.
They carry blood from the heart to the body parts.
They carry oxygenated blood except pulmonary artery.
veins are thin walled as the blood pressure is comparitively much lower.
They carry blood towards the heart from body parts except pulmonary vein.
They carry deoxygenated blood.
Capillaries are very very thin as like a hair.
Arteries divide and redivide to form capillaries and veins join and rejoin to form capillaries.
