Parthenocarpy is the production of fruits from unfertilized ovules in plants. The fruits produced by parthenocarpy do not contain seeds. For example, seedless watermelon and oranges. Parthenogenesis is a type of reproduction in which the ovum develops into an individual without fertilization.
