Acute disease are those diseases which are for short period of time

Chronic disease are those which are for large period of time.

In acute we lose no weight.

In chronic we lose weight.

In acute we have the ability to learn during disease.

In chronic we lose ability to learn during disease.

Eg for acute are- cough, fever, cold etc

Eg for chronic are- hiv, aids, cancer.
