Himalayan rivers are perinial whereas peninsular rivers are non - perinial

Himalayan rivers carry a lot of silt and fertile soil but peninsular rivers have very low fertile soil

flow from Himalayas and flow in northern plains whereas peninsular rivers flow in Deccan plateau
