Permanent Executive

=> The executives that do not change even when the ruling party changes, are called permanent Executive.

=> They have a long tenure of work.

=> Permanent Executive includes civil servants. They are experts in their fields.

=> They are appointed to assist the political executive.


Political executive

=> They are temporary executives, who change if the ruling party changes.

=> Their tenure is unstable. Their tenure ends if the ruling party ends.

=> Political executives include minister in powers. They need not to be an expert in their field.

=> They are elected by the citizens and are assisted by the permanent Executive but are not bound to act according to the experts. They take their own decisions.
