$\bold{Photosynthesis}$:- It is the process by which plants makes their own food with the help of Carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight.

In this process, heat is used up by the plants to make their food..so, it is an endothermic reaction.

$\bold{Respiration}$:- it is the process in which food stuff breaks up into tiny food molecules in the presence of oxygen.

In this process, heat is evolved by the food molecules which is then used by the humans to do some work. It is an exothermic reaction.
