Monocots have one cotyledon while dicots have two cotyledons. Monocots leaves have an equal number of stomata on each surface while dicots leaves have more stomata on their lower surface. Monocot leaves have bulliform cells on upper epidermis, whereas in dicot leaves bulliform is absent
