diff bw regular and diffused refection?

Regular reflection

1. In regular reflection the reflected light beams are always parallel to the incident light beam.

2. Regular reflection occurs from a nicely polished reflective surface.

Diffused reflection

1. In diffused reflection the reflected light beams are not parallel to the incident light beams.

2. It occurs from a diffused or irregular surface.

Regular reflection - Reflection from a polished surface is called regular reflection. Reflected rays are parallel to each other.
Diffused reflection - Diffused Reflection occurs due to irregularities in the surface. Reflected rays are not parallel to each other.
