Dislike = this person is someone I would rather not have to interact with. It is distaste, disgust, aversion, disapproval. Dislike is sometimes a very temporary thing.

Hate = extreme dislike. Strong negative feelings, anger, hostility/wanting to fight. Hatred can last for years.
