binary fission involves production of 2 offsprings . entire body of the parent is utilised

multiple fission leads to production of many offsprings . only a part of parents body is utilised

BINARY FISSION :-

1. it occurs when the environment condition is favourable for the organism

2. There is no protection covering formed outside the cell.

3. Only two new organism are formed by this type of reproduction.

MULTIPLE FISSION:-

1. it occurs when the environment condition are unfavourable for the organism.

2. A protection covering called cyst is formed outside the cell.

3. Many new individual are formed by this type of reproduction.
