Isotopes are the atoms which have same atomic number but different atomic mass.

Isobars are atoms having same atomic mass but different atomic number.

Examples of isotopes:

Isotopes of chlorine are chlorine-35 and chlorine - 37.

Examples of isobars:

Argon, chlorine , potassium and calcium which have atomic mass 40u.
