Torrid zone lies between tropic of Cancer and tropic of Capricorn. It is the hottest zone. Countries like Sri Lanka are absolutely lies in this zone.
Frigid zone also called tundra region is the coldest zone which is near the 2 poles. One of the two frigid zones is between North pole and arctic Circle and the other one is between South pole and Antarctic circle. Antarctica lies in the frigid zone.
