differenate between chronic and acute disease with suitable example

chronic diseases are the diseases which remain till life time and acute disease are those which are short term and can be cured by short treatment ex.. elephantiasis is a chronic and malaria is acute disease

Acute disease :-

An acute disease is one which comes rapidly and can be dangerous.

It cover very soon, not have enough time to cause major effects on general health.

Example :- Common cold, strep throat etc.

Chronic disease :-

A chronic disease is one that last for a longer period of time.

It is treated in a long time and causes prolonged general poor health.

Example :- Elephantiasis, Cancer etc.
