Answer:

What is Monarchy?

=> A monarchy is a country that is ruled by a monarch, and monarchy is this system or form of government. A monarch, such as a king or queen, rules a kingdom or empire. In a constitutional monarchy, the monarch's power is limited by a constitution. But in an absolute monarchy, the monarch has unlimited power.

What is Democracy?

=> The word comes from two Greek words that mean “rule by the people.” In a democracy the people have a say in how the government is run. They do this by voting, though there are usually rules about who can vote. Democracies are different from dictatorships.

Difference between them-

Democracy-

  • People choose their Government
  • People take decisions and make laws through their elected Representives.
  • The representatives are answerable and Accountable to the People.
  • Citizens have the freedom to criticise government policies.

Monarchy-

  • The government is run by a king or a queen.
  • The king and the queen makes the decisions and the laws.
  • The king or queen is not answerable to the people.
  • The people do not have the freedom to defy the king or the queen.
