They receive less rainfall and are thin in nature.

✔They shed their leaves at a particular time and so appears green at a particular period

✔They are also known as Monsoon Forests.

example -In India, evergreen forests are found on the eastern & western slopes of the Western ghats in States such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and maharastra.

They receive heavy rainfall.
