Metals are malleable because they have hifh melting and boiling point due to which they can be broken when hit by rod or any other thing due to which they can be drawn into thin sheets and non metals are not malleable because in one stroke they can be broken down.

Metals are good conductor of electricity because they have free electrons in them which are motile whereas non metals are not because they lack in free electrons except graphite
