ACUTE : Short duration diseases are called acute diseases which do not last and don not have major bad effect on our health.

Ex = Cold, cough.

CHRONIC : Long duration diseases are called chronic diseases which have a very bad effect on our health and may weaken us very badly, we may get thin and fragile.
