Hey dude!!!
In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge in alternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically. The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction.
Hope this is useful for u!!!

The difference between Alternative Current and Direct Current
AC Current
1) AC Current reverses it's direction periodically with time.
2) It is used in House hold appliances such as the electric heater , electric iron , A refrigerator, etc
3) This current is oscillatory, it max up to a certain limit and then once again max up to limit in the other direction
DC Current
1) Direct Current flows in Only One direction
2) It cannot be used for large scale of electricity for various House hold Purposes
3) This current is not oscillatory, it's sometime Stable , sometimes max and sometimes Minimum
Hope it helps
