Difference b/w caudate lobe and quadrate lobe​

Caudate and quadrate lobes are different lobes on the posterior surface of the liver.

Caudate lobe is present superior to the quadrate lobe

Caudate lobe is bordered by the fossa for Inferior Vena Cava on the right side and the fossa for ligamentum venosum on the left side.

Quadrate lobe is bordered on the right side by fossa for gall bladder and on the left side by ligament teres hepatis.

THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE IS THERE BOUNDARIES AND LOCATION.
