In Clemmensen's Reduction the reagant used is Zn/Hg in the presence of HCl
In Wolf Kishmer's Reduction the reagant used is NH₂-NH₂ with alchoholic KOH
In both reactions same task is performed (removal of carbonyl groups) but due to the difference in the reagants used, the mechanism they follow is also different.
