Difference b/w fertilization and conjunction

•Fertilization:-

Fertilization is the process of coming together of male and female gametes. A zygote is formed, eventually a embryo and foetus.It is a common method of sexual reproduction. It is also known as Syngamy. Examples;primates,canis lupus familiaris.

•Conjugation:

It is the temporary fusion of male and female organisms,thus forming conjugant. This is to share the pronucleus(the nucleus of sperm and ova). E.g., protozoa, paramecium etc.
