are called.. Dicots

- Generally monocot seeds are endospermic but some as in Orchids are non-endospermic.
- Examples: Wheat,Rice,Grass,etc.
2.Dicotyledons:
- Dicots are characterized by seeds having two cotyledons.
- They have reticulate venation in leaves.
- Posses tap root system.
- Has Tetramerous or Pentamerous flowers i.e.having four or five members in each floral whorls.
- Generally dicot seeds are non-endospermic.
- Examples:Mango,Sunflower,etc.
