During water cycle , when water vapour condenses in the clouds to form water. When the amount of water inside the clouds becomes more than the holding capacity of cloud, it falls down on earth in form of water droplets known as rain.
The amount of water vapour present in the atmosphere is called humidity. The more the humidity of a region the more chances it has for rainfall.
