True fruit is one which is derived from the ovary or rather fertilized from the ovary of the flower and its seeds are the result of transformation of ovules.
False fruits are fruits which are formed without the process of fertilization involved.
False fruits are grown from parts of plants other than the ovary.
Mangos, peaches are examples of true fruit whereas banana is an example of false fruit.
