•This is the union court and the apex institution of the united court system.
•All the Judges of the Supreme Court, retire on attaining the age of 65 years.
•The Judges of the Supreme Court cannot do their practice after retirement. These are also restricted during their tenure.
•The Judges of the Supreme Court cannot be transferred and cannot be promoted.
•The Supreme Court only has the power to take decisions regarding constitutions.
•The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court draws a salary of 33,000 Rupees per month while other Judges draw Rs. 30,000 per month.

•The Judge of the High Court retires after attaining the age of 62 years.

Supreme court is a court which works at national level. any dispute between two or more party's are solved here. It is apex court. There are 25 judges in supreme court at present.
High court is apex court at state level. each and every state has a high court. The dispute which cannot be solved by high court are forwarded to supreme court.
