Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, actually the difference is-

Let’s consider an equation of the form,

x=ab or bx=a

Now, if we put b=0, in our above equation, we get-

0×x=a,

Here, we can have 2 cases, when a is non-zero and when a is zero,

Case 1 : If a is non-zero-

From the above equation, LHS is 0, since 0×x

But, RHS is non-zero,

And as LHS is not equal to RHS, we say that it has no solution or the solution is not defined.

Case 2 : If a is zero,

From the above equation, RHS is 0, but what about the LHS?

LHS = 0×x,

Now, no matter what value of x you put in,x may be 23 , 6 , 1 , 4 , 68 , 53 , we will be getting zero always,

So, here LHS=RHS, and the solution exists.

But, since no single value of x exists, and as we're not able to find unique value of x, we say that the solution is undefined because x=ab

Thus, the difference is for 10, the solution is not defined or does not exist,

whereas for 00, there are multiple solutions and because there is ambiguity on which solution is correct, we say that it is undefined.

Hope this helps.

merry Christmas to you too

0/0 can take infinite values so its indeterminate

1/0 has no value so its undefined
