Answer==>>

Let take an example

Let a=2 and b=3

a²+b²=(2)²+(3)²=4+9=13

(a+b)²=(2+3)²=(5)²=25

so, difference between them is that

in a²+b² , we have to square one digit especially and in (a+b)², we have too add cofficient like 2,3,4,5... and when there is variables like x and y , so we have to use an identity

(a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab
