There is a very little difference between Gulf and bay..A gulf is a larger waterbody than Bay but has a mouth which is narrow than Bay. A Strait is a naturally formed, narrow, typically navigable waterway that connects two larger bodies of water. Most commonly it is a channel of water that lies between two land masses

Strait :-
Strait means narrow passage of water that connect two water bodies.
Strait has wide mouth.
Strait connect two water bodies.
Strait is smaller than a Gulf.
