Difference between academic writing and normal writing

1. The very first difference between academic writing and personal writing is that the former has some kind of structure associated with it. There is always a beginning, middle and an end. The first part of academic writing is an Introduction part. It gives an overview of the article or the topic under study.The Introduction part is elaborated in the middle section of the writing part which is called a Body. It illustrates the topic. The last part is the conclusion which summaries the topic and focus on future advancement.
